Celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year in the heart of Victoria’s historic Chinatown at Tam Kung Temple, the oldest Chinese temple in Canada (est. 1876).

Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon with fortune cookies, prize draws, and lucky red pockets for children. The Yen Wo Society will offer free English-language guided tours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, giving visitors the chance to explore this remarkable heritage site and learn about the Hakka community who built and continue to care for the temple.
