Rainbow Kitchen & Parkside Hotel’s Festive Bricks of Giving

In partnership with Rainbow Kitchen, Parkside Hotel & Spa is proud to welcome back Festive Bricks of Giving for its second season. The free LEGO® brick holiday exhibition runs November 14, 2026, to January 3, 2027, in the hotel’s atrium. 

Open daily from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, the display invites LEGO® fans of all ages to wander through the season’s creations and give back along the way. Every donation supports Rainbow Kitchen’s School Meal Program, which delivers more than 7,000 meals each month to children facing food insecurity in local schools. In the atrium, Rainbow Kitchen’s Fridge of Love display shows how these donations come to life, with in-school fridges that keep nourishing food available to students, educators, parents and support staff every day.

One of last year’s most talked-about pieces is making a welcome return, as the custom LEGO® bridge once again spans the atrium’s koi pond. It’s just one of the many experiences this season has to offer, with plenty more worth planning a visit around, including these feature days:

  • Saturday, December 12 Watch a Live BIG BUILD by Robin Sather, Canada’s first LEGO® Certified Professional from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
  • Wednesday, December 16, First Look at the BIG BUILD. Robin Sather returns with this year’s grand build. Last year he brought Santa’s sleigh to life, and this year’s design is staying under wraps. Drop by from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM to be among the first to see the finished result up close and snap a photo. The build will remain on display through the rest of the season.
  • Saturday, December 19, Free Photos with Santa. Families can stop in for complimentary photos with Santa from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
  • Sunday, December 20, LEGO® Time Trials. Builders of all ages can test their speed-building skills in a friendly challenge from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Prizes include a LEGO® set and one-night stay at Parkside. 

Visitors can give at tap-to-donate stations throughout the hotel or donate online at RainbowKitchen.ca/donate, where they can select the Festive Bricks of Giving Fund Matching Fund to have their eligible donation matched, up to a total of $25,000, throughout the duration of the fundraiser.
