Having grown up in the embrace of a loving family, Ari Kinarthy’s earliest days were marked by a liberated sense of infinite time, until his life was irrevocably changed by a diagnosis of type-2 spinal muscular atrophy, a condition that progressively weakens his muscles. Confronting the reality of his own mortality at 34 years old, the acclaimed Victoria-based music composer is driven by a singular, urgent need: to leave behind a legacy that reflects the richness of his life.

Determined to capture the essence of his experiences before it’s too late, Ari embarks on an ambitious and deeply personal composition inspired by the most treasured moments of his journey.
