Improv 101 w/ Jen Yamasaki

Improv 101 is the perfect class for the complete improv beginner or anyone who is looking to better themselves though the world of improv. Garden City Improv veteran Jen Yamasaki will teach you the basics of improv comedy through the use of hilarious games and exercises. No experience necessary!

This six week class with take place every Thursday night from April 24th to May 29th, 7-9pm.

Tickets will need to be purchased before the class begins.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Jen Yamasaki is a performer with 10+ years experience in theatre, dance, public speaking, and improv. Trained at Second City Chicago, Blind Tiger Comedy, and Garden City Improv, she has performed with Victoria’s Theatre Sports, at the Vancouver Olympic Opening Ceremonies, and at venues like the Vogue Theatre, Scotiabank Dance Centre, and Imperial Theatre in Vancouver. She has also led communications workshops and spoken at international conferences.
