Longing

Wealthy New York businessman Daniel Bloch (Richard Gere) receives an unexpected invitation to meet up with his Canadian ex-girlfriend, Rachel, from 20 years ago. But things become even more complicated when she reveals that she was pregnant at the time of their breakup, and raised a son, Allen, who has just died in a car crash. Stunned by the revelation, Daniel becomes determined to learn all he can about Allen’s life, longing to connect with the son he never knew he had. But as the search becomes more obsessed, Allen’s secrets, along with Daniel’s own life choices, begin to unravel.
