Pandora Chorus Fall Session 2024

The Pandora Chorus is a non-auditioned indie pop rock choir. We make harmony together in a fun atmosphere! You do not need previous choir experience in order to sing with us, or the ability to read sheet music. Most songs are learned by ear, through call and response. We welcome singers of all levels, and our members have really varied backgrounds… you may have sung in a choir for years, or you may have never sung in a group ever before… either way, you are welcome, and you won’t be alone!
Our repertoire ranges from current pop artists like Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, and Maggie Rogers, to classics like Queen, Paul Simon, Cyndi Lauper, and The Beatles. Founded in 2015 by our director Glenna Garramone, we are a group of more than 80 singers (of all ages) who love to sing together for the joy of it! The choir is accompanied by Brooke Maxwell, who is also a guest co-director from time to time.
Rehearsals take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (corner of Douglas St. and Broughton St.), entrance at 643 Broughton St. We rent this beautiful space and are not affiliated with a church.
We typically work towards a concert at the end of each seasonal session (participation in the concert is optional, though encouraged). Our Fall session runs weekly on Wednesdays, from 7-9pm, from September 25 to December 11, 2024.
