We are dedicated to elevating Vancouver Island’s electronic dance and associated social and arts communities while providing a platform for our local talent to play beside legendary, internationally acclaimed artists, always creating space for fresh talent to showcase their skills.

Flipside

A DJ, music producer, songwriter, vocalist and performer, Flipside is as talented as he is diverse. His myriad of musical abilities has earned him the reputation as one of Canada’s Most Versatile electronic music artists, drawing music heavyweights to his studio and rocking shows worldwide.

The 2 time Juno nominated artist is a trailblazer in his hometown of Toronto, Canada, Flipside was a key player in galvanizing its underground music scene. He continues to attract droves of fans, performing regularly at cutting edge venues- Coda, Wiggle Room, Y after-hours, Club Happenings, and the legendary Comfort Zone. Flipside has toured the globe, playing shows across North America, Central America, Europe, South America, Asia and Australia.

In the last 5 years alone, Flipside has had over 50 chart-topping tracks on iTunes, Track it Down, Traxsource, and Stompy. This includes consecutive No. 1 tracks in multiple genres; including House, Techno, Tech-House, Progressive, Electro and Breaks. With releases on Toolroom, Hot Fuss, Rawthentic, Drumcode, Revival NYC, Muse, and many more respected industry labels.

Flipside has also had music licensed to film and television landing synch deals with WWE, NBA, Netflix, Adidas Korea, MTV Real World, CBS sports, ABC’s Ugly Betty, and Gossip Girl (Hi Friend).

He attributes this to his passion for the music, love of entertaining audiences and remaining true to his musical heart — which, at the core, represents an urban drenched style of house and techno music with elements of hip hop, soul, and reggae. The big bold basslines are also a signature element of his selection during his sets.
