SUMMARY:Sister Sophia Kicks the Habit
DESCRIPTION:Sister Sophia Kicks the Habit is coming to the Victoria Fringe Festival organized by Interpid Theatre!\n\n\n‘The divine wisdom of the Holy She’\n\n“Magnificent. Lisa Randall’s superbly mobile\, expressive face speaks volumes; her speaking voice is wonderfully flexible; but it’s her singing voice that is the highlight of this piece for me\, and an unforgettable rendition of Tom Lehrer’s Vatican Rag [which itself is worth the ticket price]\, it’s an aural joy and delight that brings life and colour”. – Mary Woodward\, ScotsGay Arts\, Edinburgh\n“Sister Sophia is witty\, curious\, and easy to root for\, thanks to a stellar performance. The one-nun-show is cheeky\, introspective\, and thoughtful.” – HAMILTON CITY MAGAZINESelected for Preservation by the National Library of Scotland at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Also recommended by Gareth K Vile on BBC Radio Scotland.Sister Sophia delves into the humorous revelations of an aging nun in crisis. In her own restless night of the soul\, Sophia confronts g(G)od and has an awakening of the mind\, body and spirit! A solo performance with comedy\, songs\, physical comedy\, dance and audience interaction. Venue 2: Wood Hall\, Victoria Conservatory of Music 900 Johnson StreetAugust 29 7:45 PMAugust 30 12:00 PMSeptember 4 9:30 PMSeptember 5 2:00 PMSeptember 6 12:00 PM55 minutes
