Shepherds (Bergers)

Following a young Montreal advertising executive who, after embracing the life of a Provençal shepherd, finds himself entangled in a series of misadventures with a civil servant who has quit her job on a whim.

Shepherds is a film about how we adapt to change, the tensions between tradition and reinvention, and the sometimes messy process of finding one’s place in the world. Deraspe crafts a rich, thoughtful narrative, free of cliché, that resonates long after the story ends.
