From Friday, May 17, the Royal BC Museum will be open late, until 10:30PM on Friday and Saturday nights!
Date night, evening out with friends, or even just a chance to enjoy the galleries after a day in the sunshine when it’s a little quieter – whatever the occasion, there’s lots to see.
Visit the 2024 feature exhibition Stonehenge, and learn about one of the world’s most mysterious and unique stone monuments and what it meant to the people who built it.
The exhibition features 400+ ancient artifacts, including the burial belongings of the Stonehenge and Amesbury archers, which have never been seen before in North America. Packed with archaeological insight and cutting-edge scientific research, Stonehenge explores this iconic World Heritage Site.
Celebrate British Columbia’s diversity through enlightening and inspiring galleries that capture the stories of the people, plants, and animals that call the province home.
Take a stroll around Old Town, New Approach, a recreation of a turn of the 20th-century town in British Columbia. Visit Jonathan Hunt House, a ceremonial house and museum installation of the house of the late Jonathan Hunt, a Kwakwaka’wakw Chief.
Check out the award-winning, Our Living Languages, an exhibit that shares the history and beauty of disrupted languages in BC.
